Jill Root is a certified practitioner with The Institute of Functional Medicine who has a passion for helping people attain complete wellness. Jill has been a nurse for 25 years and Nurse Practitioner for 16 years. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Jill believes that every patient has their own individual story and experience of health and illness. Each patient deserves to be listened to and to have a practitioner that work with them to reach their unique wellness goals. Jill doesn’t just treat disease she treats people using a Functional Medicine approach to personalized care. During your visit with Jill she will perform a careful review of your history, order any needed labs and make recommendations which may include lifestyle modifications, nutrition, supplements, herbal support and sometimes prescriptions. Jill is scheduling visits with adult patients 18 years of age and older. Visits are on a cash only basis; we do not work with any insurance providers and you will not be able to submit these visits to your insurance company for re-imbursement.
