Shoppe Assistant
The Lamb Shoppe & Wellness Center is in search of someone who is passionate about great food, holistic wellness, and health education. Our team focuses on empowering health and wellness from our farm to the customers. The job will include working in the Shoppe, answering phones, assisting customers, cleaning, and stocking shelves. This position provides a wonderful opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge on holistic health, and herbal medicine by being able to work alongside an experienced wellness practitioner team. A 1–2-year commitment is preferred.

Part-time: 7-15 hours per week. Must be available to work 1-2 Saturdays a month. Shifts can vary from 4 to 8 hours. Opportunity to gain more hours by working in the herbal garden harvesting, preparing herbal products, working in our vegetable garden, and other outside tasks.
The Shoppe is open from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm on weekdays and 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturdays.
We are looking for someone to be flexible to fill in when needed and provide extra help during events. There are opportunities for future additional hours and growth.

Herbal Intern Opportunity

​Requirements:
-
1-3 years of background in herbal medicine knowledge.
-
Tincture and oil making experience.
-
Preferred, but not required to have completed Home Herbalist Level 1+.
​Jobs may include, but are not limited to: Wild crafting, harvesting, making herbal products, herbal gardening, weeding, cleaning up of workspaces, bottling, labeling, tracking inventory, researching, labeling, mixing herbal teas, taking photos, marketing, writing herbal articles, transplanting, class presentation, assisting with Home Herbalist Level 1 classes, and more.

There is flexibility in tasks if someone has an interest or affinity to one area.
How it works: If you are selected as the 2025 Herbal Intern, each month, a meeting will be held and used as an educational opportunity. Discussion of herbal projects, up-to-date research, herbal-related questions, and other botanical information can be reviewed. A schedule will be created that works for both parties. Documentation of hours and job descriptions will be required to be completed by the intern.
