Noah Osley

Noah always had a passion for helping others, especially those suffering from chronic pain. After years of drumline leading to extensive back pain, he started seeking holistic alternative solutions. He saw how holistic modalities helped solve his own chronic pain. As he recovered, he wanted to assist others in similar situations. Now, he is a certified EMMETT Practitioner and works with Myofascial Release (MFR). In his practice, you will notice the kindness and compassion he has for each and every client. Each appointment will be tailored to your specific needs to restore your health back to balance.

What is EMMETT Technique?

EMMETT Technique is an internationally recognized muscle release technique that involves the application of light finger pressure at specific points, referred to as “Emmett points”. The points are not the same as traditional trigger points or acupressure points or any other points described in any other therapy. This unique technique can be used for relieving discomfort, improving body movement, aiding relaxation, and improving quality of life.

This technique can be done sitting, lying, or standing. In addition, it is suitable for everyone from babies, during pregnancy, for the elderly, and everyone in between. It can be a standalone treatment or combined with other techniques.

Symptoms often relieved from EMMETT Technique:
  • Neck and shoulder restriction

  • Lymphatic congestion and breathing

  • Migraines or cluster headaches

  • Abdominal cramps and bowel discomfort

  • Persistent heel and foot pain

  • Headaches, dizziness and sinus congestion

  • Back and hip discomfort

  • Knee and ankle restrictions

  • Discomfort during pregnancy

  • Fluid retention

What is Myofascial Release?

Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. This essential “time element” has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: a low load (gentle pressure) applied slowly will allow a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate.

The use of Myofascial Release allows us to look at each client as a unique individual. The one-on-one sessions are hands-on treatments during which a multitude of Myofascial Release techniques and movement therapy are used. Each Myofascial Release Treatment session is performed directly on skin without oils, creams or machinery. This enables the therapist to accurately detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate release of the fascia.

The Goal of Myofascial Release is to Help you Return to a Pain Free, Active Lifestyle!
