Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum) also known as Rama, which is the most common type of Holy Basil. It is a member of the mint family (Lamiaceae) and has a lovely, pleasant, cooling, calming, and mellow flavor.
Tulsi has been used in herbal medicine for thousands of years.
Ingredients: Organically grown and hand-harvested tulsi leaves from our Herbal Garden.
To Use: 1 tablespoon of dried tulsi to 1 cup (8 oz) of boiled water. Steep for 15 minutes.
Caution: Avoid during pregnancy and nursing. Tulsi may modify glucose regulation.
